MAINTENANCE BONDS TO FINANCE PROJECTS

INCLUDED IN THE

DISTRICT’S TEN-YEAR

FACILITIES PLAN

INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 2753 (LONG PRAIRIE-GREY EAGLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS) TODD, MORRISON AND STEARNS COUNTIES, MINNESOTA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the School Board of Independent School District No. 2753 (Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Public Schools), Todd, Morrison, and Stearns Counties, Minnesota (the “District”), intends to issue its general obligation bonds (the “Bonds”) in an aggregate principal amount of approximately $14,630,000, pursuant o Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 475, as amended, and the Minnesoa Statutes, Section 123B.595, as amended (the “Bonds”). A portion of the proceeds of the Bonds will be used to optionally redeem and prepay the District’s General Obligation School Building Bonds, Series 2014A (the “Refunding Portion”), and a portion of the proceeds of the Bonds, in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $8,445,000 (the “Facilities Maintenance Portion”), will be used to finance certain projects included in the District’s ten-year facilities plan and related financing costs. A general description of the projects to be finances is as follows:

-Deferred maintenance, health and safety, and indoor air quality projects included in the District’s ten-year facilities plan approved by the Commissioner of Education.

The total amount of of District indebtedness as of February 20, 2024 is $8,049,000. If the Facilities Maintenance Portion of the Bonds were issued after that date, the total indebtedness of the District at that time would be $16,494,000 (not including the Refunding Portion).
