NOTICE OF FILING FOR THE 2024 LOCAL
GENERAL ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that a General Election will be held in Todd County on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, for the purpose of election candidates for the offices listed below. The filing period for the offices of Mayor and City Council begins at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday July 30th, 2024, and ends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13th, 2024.
The following positions will be voted on at the general election: Mayor – two-year term; City Council- four-year term (2) Seats. The Location of the election is at Long Prairie City Hall, 615 Lake Street, Long Prairie, MN 56347.
Affidavits may be filed at the City Clerk’s office located at Long Prairie City Hall, 615 Lake Street South, Long Prairie, MN 56347.
Filing fee is $2.00
